Project Colored Mountains is a cozy and colorful 3D platformer starring a bouncy little robot on a
lighthearted journey through surreal and playful spaces. Stretch yourself while launching yourself
across buildings and bouncing off glowing blocks in a relaxing world that invites exploration over
combat. It’s just you and a world full of strange, deserted places to discover.
At the heart of Project Colored Mountains is its movement system. You’ll unlock new abilities as you go,
allowing your robot to:
- Bounce in midair
- Roll at high speeds
- Chain jumps and boosts to move with precision
Each move is designed to feel satisfying on its own and even better when combined. Whether you're hopping
across a sunny field or bouncing through a flooded school hallway, the controls are smooth and intuitive,
designed to reward creative play.
The environments in Project Colored Mountains are quiet, surreal, and slightly magical. Every area is filled
with hidden nooks, secret entrances, optional challenges, and playful environmental details. Some locations
include:
- A quiet, peaceful field, to explore at your own pace
- A silent school, full of secrets
- A children’s museum, with oversized exhibits and impossible rooms
- And more
Each area introduces new types of blocks that change how you interact with the world. Uses of these odd cubes
include:
- Switching your gravity
- Teleporting you across huge distances as well as tiny ones
- Making your jumps huge!
- Spawning something in
- And more
While the game keeps things light and relaxing, there’s still a sense of progression and reward. You’ll:
- Unlock new areas by completing levels
- Collect "bits""
- Discover gems that enhance your movement
- Revisit earlier locations with new abilities to find what you missed
Each level is self-contained, but they’re all part of a larger connected world - one that slowly reveals a
mysterious event that changed everything.
- Smooth and satisfying platforming controls
- A relaxed, story-light experience with no enemies
- Bright, surreal levels that reward curiosity
- Unlockable movement upgrades that expand your freedom
- Dozens of secrets, power-ups, and hidden entrances
- Ideal for both quick play sessions and deep exploration
Project Colored Mountains is perfect for people who love creative movement, hidden secrets, and gentle world
building. Whether you want a challenge or just to roll around for fun, this is a world you can take at your
own pace.

(Ratings vary by region)
Is Project Colored Mountains appropriate for my child?
We would recommend that your child be at least six years of age. The exact age
ratings are shown below. Project Colored Mountains contains very mild cartoon
violence: the player character is regularly shown falling from a great distance,
and in most cases “respawns” back at the beginning of a level. Explosions are also
depicted, but nobody is shown to be hurt by them. Portions may be frightening to
very young children. Your child should have basic reading ability (common words,
like “bit,” “area,” “level,” etc.).
